Llundain Fach Little London B&B

Llundain  Fach, 'Little London', is set in a secluded location just off the  Swansea-Brecon  Road (A4067) and on the southern edge of the Brecon  Breacons, on the banks of the River Tawe, and  surrounded by trees.

We provide relaxed welcoming comfort in an atmosphere somewhere between Enid Blyton and Donovan.

The  area  is renowned for outstanding scenery and is a delight for cycling,  fishing  and walking.  For more information on the National Park, and other local and travel  information please see our updated Links and Info page.

There is a large lawn and a small woods, where you can sit by the river's edge and enjoy the wildlife: herons, ducks, woodpeckers  and other woodland birds, and the occasional otter and kingfisher  –  even, maybe, have your breakfast by the river bank.  Fishing enthusiasts are welcome to try fishing from our banks, and licences can be purchased locally.

There  are some excellent pubs in the area for meals and real ales, but if you  want to order in a take-away dinner from nearby Ystradgynlais you can  enjoy that in the garden, or our farmhouse kitchen. Home cooked evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement, at an extra charge.

For  those  travelling without a car there is a great bus service (X63)  that  passes near by, travelling across the picturesque Beacons,  connecting  Swansea and Neath to Brecon  on weekdays and Saturdays.

The  nearest train station is Neath, and travellers arriving at Swansea,  Neath or Brecon by public transport, can catch the X63 bus to (almost)  our front door, or from Swansea  take the 125 bus to Ystradgynlais and  then a short mile remains: taxi, walk, or phone us if the weather is  bad. 

Because  we are down the end of an unpaved track that is officially seen as a  public footpath, the use of a sat-nav will get you to the main road but  not to our front door!  So we will give you more detailed directions  when we confirm the booking; and of course keep our phone number handy  so we can 'talk you in'  if you go a bit astray.
